Embarrassing stuff from the teen years

Ever since my mother read a very bad poem that I wrote in 1988 in which I happened to predict Donald Trump “taking over the universe” at my birthday dinner last year, friends have been suggesting that I apply to perform it at Mortified, the monthly show at Littlefield where participants read aloud things that they wrote during the awkward years. I’m not on the slate just yet, but if it’s anything like past shows I’ve attended, some really talented, hilarious people
