DOWNTOWN: Two teens shot, one dead Downtown

See this story at BrooklynPaper.com.By Ruth Brownfor The Brooklyn PaperA gunman fatally shot a teen in the head, and wounded another Downtown on Monday evening, police said.Authorities say the shooter opened fire on Flatbush Avenue Extension near DeKalb Avenue at around 6 pm, hitting 16-year-old Armani Hankins in the head and an 18-year-old in the ankle.Paramedics took the Hankins to nearby Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
