Calexico prep new LP (stream 2 songs), announce tour

Tucson, AZ's Calexico will release their ninth studio album, The Thread That Keeps Us, via ANTI- on January 26. "There's a little more chaos and noise in the mix than what we've done in the past," Calexico co-founder Joey Burns says of the LP, though he adds that has a lot to do with "where we're at right now as a planet." Tour dates include two NYC shows.
