Building inspectors, contractors in bribery scheme

Bribery charges are expected to be announced on Tuesday against approximately 50 New York City building inspectors and contractors. The announcement of the pay-to-play scheme comes after a year-long investigation.  Those being arrested are accused of accepting bribes to speed-up projects and approve certificates of occupancy.
