Blizzard hits New York City region

Heavy snow, wind and cold temperatures blanketed the tristate region on Tuesday as the Blizzard of 2015 made its way through the area. While a predicted storm of epic proportions didn't manifest itself in New York City, points east, particularly eastern Long Island, were slammed. Snow was expected to continue to fall throughout the day, dumping several more inches in most of the area.
