Axe Throwing and A Burning Ring of Fire

OK, so this might not be for everybody but I gotta say I’m intrigued by the idea of learning how to throw an axe without killing myself or an innocent bystander. Something about it sounds . . . cathartic? Anyway, I was unaware that Gowanus is home to New York’s first and only indoor axe throwing facility, Kick Axe, but it is and New York Adventure Club is sponsoring an intro to the sport there this Saturday from 6:15-7:45pm. Your $39 ticket covers instruction and access to unlimited
