$100,000 Doled Out to Replace Roll-Down Gates

As the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership continues efforts to position the neighborhood as a true 24/7 destination, we are happy to report on the ongoing initiative to replace roll-down gates at retailers in our major shopping corridors.

Thanks to a grant from the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, we were able to award more than $100,000 last year to small businesses to remove or replace 22 solid roll-down gates throughout the district.
