Mets snag Yankees coach to add to Carlos Mendoza’s staff

The Mets are raiding the Yankees’ coaching staff again to strengthen their pitching department under manager Carlos Mendoza. 
Per SNY, the Mets have hired former Yankees assistant pitching coach Desi Druschel, who will jump from the Bronx to Queens to work under pitching coach Jeremy Hefner. 
Druschel had been with the Yankees since 2019, working three seasons as the organization’s minor-league manager of pitching development before joining the big-league club in 2022. He p
