Man shot dead at Bronx street corner; cops search for perp who pulled trigger

Bronx detectives are investigating a deadly shooting early on Thursday morning that claimed a man's life.Police said the homicide happened at the corner of East 175th Street and Monroe Avenue in Mount Hope at about 2:27 a.m. on Dec. 19.Officers from the 46th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the unidentified male victim with a gunshot wound to his torso.EMS rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
