CM Marmorato presents $4M for City Island Library repairs

Council Member Kristy Marmorato announced Thursday that she has secured $4 million for repairs to the City Island Library that will go toward overhauling the building’s HVAC system, repairing the roof and various upgrades. 
Marmorato called the investment “a long-overdue step in the right direction.” She also called for continued investment in local libraries, which was recently put to the test as the city’s public library system faced the threat of over $58 million
