Trustco Bank sued over allegedly 'deceptive' overdraft fees

GlenvilleTrustco Bank is being sued over its use of  $36 debit card overdraft fees by a customer who alleges the bank is illegally manipulating checking account balances to charge the lucrative fees again and again.Deborah Livingston, a Trustco account holder who lives in Celebration, Fla., made the allegations in a lawsuit filed Sept. 2 in federal court in Albany. She and her attorneys are seeking class-action status to allow other Trustco customers to join the suit as well.
