Student struck by vehicle near Schenectady High School

SCHENECTADY - A student is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle outside of the high school Tuesday, police said.Police were called for a pedestrian accident before 1 p.m. on an access road behind Schenectady High School, 1445 The Plaza.Karen Corona, the spokeswoman for the Schenectady City School District, confirmed that the pedestrian struck is a student at the school.
