Sticky note helps free man from prison

TROY – A file tagged with a handwritten sticky note stating "DO NOT DISCLOSE" and filled with documents that were never turned over to the defense led to freedom from prison for a man accused of child sex abuse, his defense attorney said.The file contained Rensselaer County Child Protective Services records for a then 10-year-old female victim in a 2002 sexual abuse case filed against defendant Eulogio "Lewis" Cruz.
