Smoke from Albany Pine Bush will be controlled burn on Friday

ALBANY - The Albany Pine Bush Preserve will carry out a controlled burn Friday to get rid of underbrush that can fuel uncontrollable forest fires if left to flourish.The work will be carried out on the section of the pine bush that is located near the intersection of Old State Road and Route 155 on the western edge of the city.The preserve expects to carry out the controlled burn between 1 p.m. and nightfall.
