Sheriff Apple, activists push for substance use treatment in jails

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple joined drug policy activists and lawmakers at the state Capitol Thursday to advocate for legislation that would make medication-assisted treatment available to prison and jail inmates battling substance use disorders.
