Schenectady officials, forecasters see minimal risk of flooding

SCHENECTADY - Schenectady officials hope an expected drop in temperatures this week will slow snow melt, giving the city's Stockade some relief from flooding fears when rain moves in later this week.The region's snow pack and ice have been shrinking since temperatures climbed into the 40s on Sunday - and two straight days of in the 50s is quickening the pace.
