Rescued owl takes flight in Waterford

Chance Hazelnis hadn't seen the owl since the morning he drove his truck over the bird, pulled over, followed the injured animal into the woods, wrapped it in his Carhartt jacket and called for help.That was three weeks ago, long enough for the male barred owl to recover from his injuries and regain what wildlife rehabilatator George Sarris called his spunk.
