Power being restored after winds whip Albany area, upstate
More than 1,000 National Grid customers remain without service Tuesday as the utility - and the region - continue to confront the aftermath of a wind storm Monday that down trees, branches and power lines around upstate.The utility says pockets of outages are scattered around Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties, with a heavy concentration on Albany, Bethlehem and Colonie.
