Plea deal offered in Albany killing

ALBANY -- An ex-convict charged with the murder of 31-year-old Khalil Barnes last summer on Quail Street is mulling a bargain that would require he plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter and receive a 22-year prison sentence.Neshad Grady, 24, of Albany, known as "Moo Moo," will decide whether he will accept the deal when he appears before acting Supreme Court Justice Roger McDonough on Jan. 25 at 1 p.m.Grady's lawyer, P.J.
