Percoco wants to delay prison sentence

ALBANY — Joe Percoco doesn't want to spend New Year's Eve in federal prison.More broadly, the former top aide to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo doesn't want to spend any holidays behind bars as he appeals his March conviction on corruption charges. He's currently scheduled to surrender himself on Dec. 28 to begin the six-year sentence handed down by U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni in September.
