Overnight freeze leaves roads slick, schools delayed

Schools in outlying parts of the Capital Region are delaying the start of classes while road crews drop salt on roads left slick when Thursday's rain and melted snow left roads covered in ice.The delays are scattered at spots in western Schenectady County, eastern Rensselaer County, Columbia County and Greene County.Schools in Washington County were also delayed.
