Out-of-contention ValleyCats trade starting shortstop, second baseman

Larry and Leslie, former college rivals, helped the ValleyCats go 62-34 last season and reach the Atlantic Conference Finals. This year, Tri-City was 29-45, the second-worst record in the league.
