One-day postponement in court case for Albany cop

UTICA - A court appearance for Albany Police Officer Christofer M. Kitto, the patrolman who was allegedly with a prostitute when he shot and killed a man who tried to rob him with a knife earlier this month in Utica, was postponed until Wednesday.Kitto, who faces a charge of patronizing a prostitute, was expected to appear in Utica City Court Tuesday morning. But prosecutors said a judge postponed the appearance by a day amid concern the officer's lawyer raised about Tuesday's pending snowstorm.
