Newly elected senators take on Cuomo over school funding

Even before they've taken office in January, five newly elected Democratic Senators are taking aim at Gov. Andrew Cuomo over school funding.
And while state aid is a perpetual bargaining chip between lawmakers who want more and governors who want to spend less, remarks this week by these senators-elect suggest that this year's school spending discussion will be even more contentious than usual.
