New website helps N.Y. school board candidates navigate process

The state School Boards Association has developed a web-based guide to prospective school board candidates. Titled, The School Board Member Experience, the guide is a self-guided site at bit.ly/schoolboardexp which lets users scroll through questions about why one may want to run and what to expect during a campaign and on the board.
