New Mexico man dies in Lake Champlain

BEEKMANTOWN (AP) — Authorities say a 72-year-old New Mexico man has drowned while paddle boarding along Lake Champlain's New York shoreline.State police say troopers responded around 10:15 a.m. Thursday to reports of a drowning off Point Au Roche in the Clinton County town of Beekmantown, about 15 miles south of the Canadian border.
