New land in Saratoga County will create snowmobile trail, and more connections between parks

Almost 5,000 acres of forest land in northern Saratoga County will be protected from development with completion last week of an agreement between local communities, the Open Space Institute and a private, German-based timber company.
In addition to protecting the woodlands, the  Boeselager Working Forest” agreement paves the way for a long-sought snowmobile trail from Corinth to Great Sacandaga Lake and it protects a prime moose habitat.
