National Grid preps for potential New Year's outages

ALBANY - National Grid said it increased overnight staffing on New Year's Eve and is having line crews report for duty earlierthan normal on New Year's Day in anticipation of potential outages across upstate New York from high winds and wet and icy weather overnight.
