Minor fire displaces Schenectady residents

SCHENECTADY - Residents were forced to leave their apartments after a minor fire sent smoke though the building.Schenectady Fire Chief Ray Senecal said about two dozen tenants on the fourth and fifth floor of the Ten Eyck Apartments on Broadway were temporarily led from their apartments after a small fire started in one of the apartments on the Fourth Floor.The fire occurred at about 9:30 a.m.
