Man, dog killed in East Nassau fire

EAST NASSAU - a 19-year-old and his dog died in the fire that destroyed a home Friday on Saddleback Ridge Road, according to the victim's obituary.Jonathan Saviano worked for Darcy Construction in New Lebanon and loved the outdoors and Ford trucks, his obituary stated.Saviano is survived by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.The fire is being investigated by the Rensselaer County sheriff's office.
