Little League in Delmar helps bring Negro Leagues to life

Tri-Village Little League in Delmar held a celebration of the Negro Leagues at Magee Park on Kenwood Avenue on Saturday.Entitled "Negro Leagues 101," the event celebrated the 101th anniversary of the famed Negro Leagues of professional baseball that thrived before the integration of Major League Baseball in 1947 when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in the sport.
