Lawyers work to enable Santa's Polar Express arrival

The railroad that operates the popular Polar Express train each year out of the Saratoga Springs station is racing against the calendar to settle a court dispute over its license to use the name.Iowa Pacific Holdings, whose Saratoga and North Creek Railway operates the train, is seeking to negotiate a settlement with Durango, Colo.-based Rail Events Inc., which licenses the Polar Express name and merchandise to rail operators nationwide.
