Lawyer: Case against Troy code enforcement officer isn't strong

TROY – It's a weak case.That's what the defense attorney for city code enforcement officer James E. Lance III suggested Tuesday after his client pleaded not guilty to an indictment in connection with the 2015 sale of wooded lot in Lansingburgh to a former city engineer."It's obvious at this point, based on the fact that the indictment charges significantly less crimes than the felony complaint charges, that this isn't a very strong case," the lawyer, Marc R. Pallozzi, told the Times Union
