Lawsuits against ex-Cuomo economic development aide dismissed

Manhattan federal district court Judge Robert Sweet dismissed a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a former Department of Motor Vehicles employee against Sam Hoyt, a former assemblyman, and ex-top Cuomo administration economic development official.On Tuesday, Sweet also dismissed a lawsuit that the former DMV employee, Lisa Marie Cater, had brought against Empire State Development, New York's economic development promotion agency, which alleged the agency had ignored Hoyt's conduct.
