Judge clears way for Amazon project in Schodack

A State Supreme Court Judge has cleared the way for a $100 million distribution center for Amazon that neighbors had claimed violated state environmental protection laws.The center is expected to create 800 jobs.Members of the Birchwood Association, a group of about 50 homeowners who live near the 116-acre site, had said they weren't trying to kill the Amazon project, but that they wanted an environmental impact study to be done.
