JCOPE vote on Percoco may remain mystery

ALBANY — A recent move by the state Joint Commission on Public Ethics could make it difficult for the public to learn whether the panel has authorized an investigation of Joseph Percoco, a former top aide to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.On Dec. 18, state Supreme Court Justice Patrick McGrath ordered that JCOPE's commissioners had one month to vote on whether to investigate Percoco for misuse of state resources.
