IBM turns to Samsung for its 7nm chips

ALBANY - IBM is turning to Samsung to make next-generation, 7 nanometer chips for its high-powered servers in a move that highlights exactly why GlobalFoundries decided recently to stop investing in 7 nanometer manufacturing at its Fab 8 factory in Saratoga County.
