GlobalFoundries still hiring despite recent layoffs

MALTA - GlobalFoundries' Fab 8 computer chip factory in Malta is still hiring despite having gone through layoffs recently.Fab 8 employs roughly 3,000 people after laying off 424 employees back in November after deciding it would stop developing next-generation chip manufacturing, 7 nanometer chips that are a step ahead of the current 14 nanometer chip architecture.
