GlobalFoundries foundation awards $165,000 to Malta groups

MALTA - The GlobalFoundries-Town of Malta Foundation, which benefits charities and nonprofits in the town of Malta, awarded 46 grants totaling $165,5000 on Thursday to local groups and community projects.The foundation, and a similar one that benefits groups in the town of Stillwater, accepts grant applications each year. The two funds have given out nearly $1.5 million over the past eight years.
