ALBANY — Joseph Sullivan, a neighborhood activist and frequent candidate for elected office, died after a battle with cancer, his wife confirmed Wednesday.Sullivan most recently challenged state Assemblywoman Patricia Fahy in 2018, a campaign he said he waged for the 109th Assembly district to give voters a choice and to push back on Albany's new zoning rules.For decades, Sullivan fought against development in the city.
