Diversity initiatives set to come into focus under Democratic legislature

The political dynamic surrounding diversity initiatives aimed at addressing things like education, criminal justice and healthcare have shifted as Democrats have taken control of both houses in the state legislature, according to lawmakers and advocates who attended this weekend's conference of the state Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators.
