Did Schenectady GE's 'giveaways' cause current woes?

SCHENECTADY - A Wall Street analyst who covers General Electric Co. and one of GE's top executives appeared to suggest this week that some of the problems with GE's Schenectady-based power division had to do with "giving things away" in its contracts with customers.
