Delmar nursing home evacuated due to power outage

DELMAR - A nursing home was evacuated Monday afternoon following a power outage, police said.Police and fire were called around 3:20 p.m. for reports that Good Samaritan Nursing Home, 119 Rockefeller Rd., had lost power after a nearby power pole caught fire.Residents and employees in the nursing home were taken to a nearby building that is also a part of the Good Samaritan Village, a senior community.
