Cuomo vetoes pothole reporting website

ALBANY — An interactive state website for reporting and tracking the condition of potholes in New York was nixed on Friday by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.The governor balked at the price tag of the website, which he estimated to cost between $500,000 and $1 million. He claimed that signing the legislation would require the state Department of Transportation to divert money from road maintenance and repair duties.
