Community groups give back to 2 needy Schenectady families

SCHENECTADY – Christmas will come a day early for two needy Schenectady families courtesy of the generosity of several groups who have banded together in the spirit of giving back.The organizations are hosting a luncheon, gift collection and bike donation from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the CDTA Schenectady Division, 2401 Maxon Road Extension.Additionally, CDTA will donate several bicycles to the Victory Christian church in Albany.The Schenectady County Human Rights Commission MLK Coalition,
