Columbia High student charged with attempted murder of another student

RENSSELAER — A 16-year-old Columbia High School student has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing another 16-year-old student in the City of Rensselaer on Friday, police and the East Greenbush school district confirmed Sunday.The stabbing did not take place on school property or in connection with any school event.
