Class action alleges NY prisons keep mentally ill past release dates

Legal advocates for people with disabilities have filed a class action lawsuit against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and two state agencies, charging that they're responsible for keeping mentally ill New Yorkers in prison beyond their release dates for lack of a place to put them.
