Churches cancel Sunday services as storm bears down

Some churches and congregations are canceling weekend services and Sunday school classes ahead of the weekend's predicted snowstorm.Bishop Edward Scharfenberger excused parishioners in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany from their Sunday obligation, but left the decision on Mass schedules up to individual parishes.
