Campus watch: Sherman, Willis capture wins for UAlbany track

The University at Albany track team held its annual Great Dane Classic last Saturday at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island and seniors Cara Sherman and Devon Willis came away with victories.Sherman, from Rotterdam (Mohonasen High), finished first in the mile with a time of 4 minutes, 57.77 seconds, which was a qualifying effort for the Division I ECAC Championship. Junior Kiyah Owens of Great Neck finished first in the 400-meter dash (56.41). The women also got a fourth-place finish
