Brunswick councilman pleads guilty in drunken driving case

SCHAGHTICOKE – A Brunswick councilman pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired in Schaghticoke Town Court Monday night receiving the standard disposition for a first-time offender, the Rensselaer County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.Councilman Daniel Casale's guilty plea resolve the drunken driving charges that arose when he was stopped Feb. 8 by a county sheriff's deputy when his vehicle's headlights were not on while traveling on the street where he lives in the town.
